Company KPIs
Understand the operating measures companies disclose and how to compare them over time.
Company KPIs covers operating measures reported in SEC filings, such as customer and subscriber counts, usage, production, capacity and operating quality. These measures help explain a company's business alongside its financial statements.
The dataset is in beta and included at no additional cost for eligible subscribers. The API reference contains the request options, response fields and integration examples.
What the dataset contains
We select reported operating measures that help describe the scale, activity or quality of a company's core business. Examples include active users, products delivered, wafer shipments, customer retention and installed capacity.
The dataset contains reported values, their definitions, units, fiscal periods and SEC sources. It does not include financial statements or revenue and profit breakdowns. A company can have several related measures, including measures for individual products, regions or business units.
Sources and coverage
Each value cites an original SEC filing document and the section, table or passage that supports it. Sources include annual and interim reports, earnings releases, presentations and other substantive exhibits filed with the SEC.
A later filing may report an earlier period or revise a previously reported value. The cited source identifies the disclosure used for the stored value. Some cited exhibits may sit outside the documents included in Chadwin's cleaned report datasets.
Coverage varies by company, measure and period. The beta does not promise every company or ten years of history. A reviewed period with no eligible values has an empty KPI list. Periods that have not completed review are absent.
